How to get COVID-19 PCR Test at Incheon International Airport upon arrival to Korea

Dear Summer School Online Applicants and Partner Officials


Due to COVID-19, students from overseas countries have to take the COVID-19 PCR test for exemption from quarantine.


Please read carefully on the regulations for entering Korea to be excepted from Quarantine. (Our school dormitory requests either PCR or RAT test certificate  within the government regulations period). *Currently only a PCR test is available at Incheon International Airport. 

(An RAT test is NOT available inside the airport).

①    Change of Pre-Entry COVID-19 Test (PCR/RAT in parallel)

②   Relaxation of Post-Entry COVID-19 Test (PCR Test within 3 days)

PCR Test within 1 day of entry + RAT Test on 6~7th day of entry

PCR Test within 3 days of entry (recommended to take RAT Test on 6~7th day of entry)

③    Change in Vaccination Completion Criterion for Under 18 Years of Age

Triple-vaccinated or double-vaccinated (14~180 days) is considered fully vaccinated

-Under 6 years of age with a vaccinated person are exempt from quarantine

Double-vaccinated (14 days elapsed) is considered fully vaccinated

-Under 12 years of age with a vaccinated person are exempt from quarantine

At Incheon Airport, there’s three COVID-19 Testing Centers. 


The information below is based on the regulations May 26th, 2022. So please read carefully at planning the summer school arrival itinerary.    


# If your flight has arrived in Terminal 1, you can find testing centers at Terminal 1 Transit Center outdoor(1F), East/West side (Near entrance/exit door next to Capsule Hotel Darakhyu). 


# If your flight has arrived at Terminal 2, you can find the testing center at Terminal 2 Parking lot(B1), West side (In front of Security Pass Office).


Please select testing center and time at your convenience since all testing centers offer the same type of tests at the same price.



# You must bring your passport to take COVID-19 test and get a PCR certificate.


Test cost for arriving passengers is KRW 80,000.


T1(East/West) and T2 arrival test will be operating between 7AM ~ 9PM KST, but T2 testing center are not available on break time(5:30PM ~ 6PM).


Please check the website information regarding the timetable for the result. 



Test results will be sent in SMS and encrypted mail. So please check your result through SMS and E-mail.
