As of 18:00 on August 1st, a heatwave warning has been expanded nationwide. In response to the worsening heatwave situation, the Ministry of Public Administration and Safety has activated the Level 1 Central Disaster Safety Headquarters for heatwave response and raised the heatwave crisis alert level to "serious."

During hot daytime hours with intense sunlight, please refrain from outdoor activities and take precautions to protect your health, such as staying hydrated. Follow the guidelines for preventing heat-related illnesses.

•Minimize outdoor activities. If you must go out, wear a wide-brimmed hat and lightweight clothing, and always carry a bottle of water.
•Drink plenty of water and avoid beverages containing caffeine or alcohol.
•In indoor spaces without air conditioning, shield yourself from direct sunlight and ensure proper ventilation.
•Never leave the elderly, frail individuals, patients, or children alone inside closed vehicles.
•If you plan to leave the house for an extended period, especially leaving behind those who have difficulty moving, elderly, or sick individuals, please ask relatives or neighbors for assistance and regularly check on them through phone calls or other means.
•If you experience symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, headache, or muscle cramps, move to a cool place, take a rest, and slowly drink a cool beverage.
